★★★★★ This was a hit! Umaka Ramen is a really nice ramen spot in the mall, and the staff was beyond friendly. The food was fantastic. We split an order of takoyaki balls, which were crispy on the outside and hot, cheesy, and delicious in the middle. You get 7 for just $5.95 — absolutely cannot be beat! We both tried different entrees. The spicy beef ramen had a flavorful broth and plenty of noodles. It was a little light on beef, but still really good. The Yakiniku rice bowl, though, was a 10/10. The beef was tender and coated in a savory BBQ sauce with great texture and flavor. Great food, great service, and great value. Would definitely go back!

We’ve been here for dine-in and have also ordered delivery, and both were consistently great. Delicious ramen, tasty takoyaki, and our delivery arrived well packed. Friendly service and a kid-friendly spot for families.

The dishes are unique and will especially appeal to those who enjoy trying different flavors. The service was fast, and the food was quite delicious. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would gladly come back.

Hands down the BEST place to eat if you’re at Westfield Old Orchard. The portion size is great, the food is great, the atmosphere makes you feel so cozy, the price is more than fair for what you’re getting, and it almost feels like you’ve teleported into a shop in Japan with all the decor. One of, if not the best places i’ve ever had especially locally. 10/10 ⭐️

We came on a cold yet sunny day. Decided on something hot to eat to warm the chill from the winds. Ordered the #1, #2, #9 and an extra shrimp tempura. Each dish we ordered had different broths in which we tried each others to get a taste. #1 was my fave as it had soo much flavor and wasn't heavy. The soy egg actually tasted properly marinated as other places we tried were almost plain. #2 was a more heartier broth, perfect for cold weather and #3 was clear and more vegetarian like with thick udon noodles. Each bowl tasted distinct. All were super good and came pleasingly hot (temp). Also loved the tempura, ordered another near the end of our meal because it was that good. Light and crisp. And the dipping sauce was a perfect match. Coming back, yes! Going to try their sushi's when the weather warms up and the bobas.
